Class of 2011 - Graduation PhotoCard Special

Can you believe that I'm already talking about graduation? Well, its only 5-6 months away! If you're a parent, I'm sorry for the reminder. If you're a senior, I'm sure its not soon enough! Things you need to know before calling or emailing your order:

1) When & where is the graduation ceremony (if you're including that info on the card).

2) When & where is the party or open house.

3) What photo(s) do you want included on your card. This can also include childhood photos incorporated with your senior photo.

4) Color(s) for the card. Do you want it to be school colors, your favorite color, or colors that will highlight your senior photo?

There are many new things for this season:

One being the new option for metallic wallets. These will make your photos "pop" and really stand out. They are VERY cool!

Two, to help in determining your outdoor photos, there's an "Outdoor Scenes" guide on the website under Senior Sittings. So, before you come to your sitting, you'll have the opportunity to think about what you'd like for your outdoor "look".

Three, to help families save money, the proof booklet is now an optional add-on to sittings. And, if you select just on-line proofing, your proofs will be ready sooner! But, for those that prefer to be able to look at actual photos and not stare at a computer screen, the proof booklet is still a nice option to have.

Four, some of your proofs will be artistically enhanced. Now, you won't be just getting the straight shot and raw photo. I will be hand selecting some photos to "play" with and show a creative interpretation.

Class of 2010 - There's Still Time...

Want to book your senior sitting? There's still time! I've still got openings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through August. Keep in mind that I will only be able to book until August 22nd (Baby Bindl #2 will be coming on August 25th, if not before) and then I'll be taking a couple weeks off. Marshall seniors...keep in mind that your yearbook pose is due to the school by October 31st.

Summer in Full Swing

Its hard to believe that its this time of year again, but I've been shooting the Class of 2010 now for two weeks! Its going well and the weather has been nice (for the most part), but now the heat is finally setting in. And, Baby Bindl #2 (the bundle of joy on the way) has not been affecting the sittings.

Behind the Camera....

The photo of the senior dunking the ball, Mike Boebel, on my homepage, was taken laying down on the gym floor.  Talk about guts!  But, I trust Mike!  I also coach him in track.  He's a very talented high jumper for Marshall High School.  Anyways...Mike had great control as he dunked the ball directly above me and managed to not slam the ball on my camera, let alone land on me. It was a great shot and it was fun to do something different!
